Children's Therapy Center, Inc.
Children’s Therapy Center, Inc. provides Speech, Occupational, and Physical Therapy for children with physical, developmental and sensory processing disorders. We want to express our gratitude to the Carly May Foundation for the generosity of the work they have done. With the funds they donated we were able to buy therapy Equipment that is unique to this population. We also were able to obtain toys, bikes, ipads that typical children use. This equipment has allowed us to provide activities to enable our kids the opportunity to participate in activities and self-care skills that would be typical of their peers.
Every child who attends Children’s Therapy Center has benefited in some many way from generosity of the Carly May Foundation. The equipment that we’ve been able to purchase through the Foundation’s donations are utilized daily, providing unique opportunities that enable the therapist’s at Children’s Therapy Center to help their client’s grow in mentally, physically and emotionally. For example, some of the funding we received went to build and install a 10 foot high by 12 foot wide rock wall inside the clinic. This gift helps challenge the children of Children’s Therapy Center in many ways as well as helps them improve their strength and problem solving skills. Once they’ve conquered the wall, each child experiences a sense of accomplishment and a boost in confidence that is so important to every child’s development. Next to the rock wall we have a framed picture of Carly which helps open the door for conversations with parents and children about our brave and bubbly friend Carly whom we continue to love dearly, and the wonderful Foundation in her honor that helps her beautiful spirit live on and touch so many lives in such a positive way! Our goal is to help children reach their fullest potential. The Carly May Foundation has contributed to that goal. It has been an honor to have been chosen as one of their recipients.
